Hey!
Yeah, so my companion is cool. He is a hard worker and not making me
too trunky. We are kicking butt here in our ward and working hard to get those referrals and investigators to teach. Right now we compete/motivate each other
to make contacts in the street. We have a good time. We have explored a lot of
new parts of our area and it's the coolest feeling to just trust the
spirit and let him guide you to a certain house. A companionship is always a
trio- you, your companion and the senior companion (the spirit).
One day we were
walking and found some men talking in the street. One of them had a bamboo
fishing pole, another had a broken foot in a cast, and another with his pitbull. We just walked up and started talking with them and started getting to
know them. We asked if there was a place nearby to fish and they pointed outward. And after an hour of chitchat and talking about the gospel they all got
super interested in the church and told us they would like to visit sometime. I
hope the lord is preparing them and touches their hearts. I think the mission
is so cool because our job is to open our mouths for 2 years and really help
someone become happier everyday.
Much Love,
Elder Kennedy
